I need ideas!

So I'm extremely tired of how boring my front door is. I'm going to paint it, but I have no idea what color. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know! I was thinking purple...or maybe a greyish blue... The best part is that James told me to go to the store and get whatever color I wanted. You would think that after being married to me for two years he would have learned. My house is a pale yellowish cream color so I was thinking darker colors. Ideas anyone?
